Ticket Snatcher
Movie Ticket Booking Platform
Narrow the catalogue to one screening, pick specific seats on a live map, and confirm the reservation.
A MERN movie-booking app. Theatre and showtime filters narrow the catalogue to a single screening, an interactive seat map carries reservation state per seat, and an Express API over MongoDB persists the booking. Deployed on Vercel.
The Problem
A quantity field hides the one thing a buyer actually cares about: which seats are still free. Booking is only useful when the map shows what is already taken.

What I Engineered
- Built an interactive seat map where every seat carries its own reservation state, so a taken seat reads as unavailable before checkout.
- Added theatre and showtime filtering so the catalogue narrows to one screening before seat selection begins.
- Backed the booking flow with an Express API over MongoDB and shipped the client on Vercel.
Impact & Scale
- Seat-level selection instead of a quantity-only checkout
- Theatre and showtime filters narrow the catalogue before booking
- Publicly deployed and reachable on Vercel
